HRL IFAA- Heavy Riser Longbow to meet IFAA longbow rules

This bow is designed as competition longbow. Bow has carbon limbs with bamboo core and small-lightweight limb tips for good arrow speed. Bow has massive/heavy FR4 material riser to add stability and limit handshock. And bow is relatively long so that string around fingers doesn't make sharp angles and so "finger pinch" is limited and it is easer to make clean arrow release.

Limb construction: 

• unidirectional carbon back
• bamboo core
• black Gordon composites glass belly
• more pronounced reflex/deflex limb design for better arrow speed and smoother draw
• full carbon limb option available for aditional cost (+100euro)

Riser construction:

• Massive design and heavy FR4 material for extra riser weight. (bow mass ~1600gram)
• Grip height options, grip style options
• Cut to center to meet IFAA longbow rules.
• Sight window cut shape to meet IFAA rules
• Laser engraved antler or metal medalion options
• Grip stippling and metal insert option

• Limb tiller for split finger (SF) or three under (3U) draw styles
• Endless loop string made of Spectra BCY, BCY 3D  String serving thicknes customization option to fit your arrow nock size.

Booth models have same limb design, same bow length options, same grip options etc. only difference is heavier riser for TDR bow because of metal limb fixing hardware and extra use of FR4 material.

Flat grip

Flat, slightly inverted grip surface. Prety much the same grip shape as for Jaeger style grip but without lifeline indicator relief.


Best grip shape for traditional bows acording to "SOLID Archery mechanics" teaching course.
